The size was perfect for the area I needed to have this placed, The metal is pretty light and putting this together was easy you don't need anything other than the tools included and the instructions did a good job explaining how to put it together. The color is gorgeous as well. Keep in mind this doesn't compare to my $300 desk in quality but it is great for a $60
