GTUL Slide Removal Tool

Very nice to use. Never struggle to release the slide for cleaning . Light weight and isnt bulky. .

The tool is great in theory and kind of works as intended. I have arthritis and nerve damage in my hands, and the fine motor skills that I used to make my living for decades are gone. This is my first Glock, and the slide lock lever tabs that you have to pull down for removing the slide -- to clean the gun and work on the interior, are IMPOSSIBLE for me to grab and pull down bare-handed. This tool does help a little, I can now remove the slide 1 out of every 6 or 8 tries when I use it. Maybe that will get better with practice. At least I can do it now, eventually. I'm ordering an aftermarket extended slide lock lever for about the same price as this tool, which will hopefully make the process much easier once I install it and use the two of them together. At least give this tool a shot if it's currently impossible for you to remove the slide from your Glock, or nearly so. (BTW, I love this Walmart Marketplace seller -- Lenny Magill's GlockStore. Excellent service.)
