Each gauze sponge comes sterile inside a compact tray and is a safe and hygienic choice for cleaning, dressing or packing wounds. They're also ideal for gently applying medicine, cleaning away foreign matter and removing dead or infected skin tissue from the wound area. These sponges encourage healing by keeping wounds dry and protecting them from exposure to infections or further harm. These disposable gauze sponges from Curity fulfill USP Type VII requirements and are 8-ply squares measuring 4 x 4 inches each, packed in a convenient plastic tray.
