Product details
Royal Standard’ has bright, glossy green leaves with sturdy upright stems. Perhaps its greatest quality is the highly fragrant funnel-shaped white flowers that bloom from July through August. Royal Standard tolerates more sun than most without developing a bleached appearance or burned leaf edges. We love “new” but Royal Standard, the first patented hosta, is a fine example of why the latest introductions aren’t always best. The plant may be divided every few years or left undisturbed indefinitely. Hosta’s perform well in woodland settings where filtered light is abundant.
