Arrived SO FAST!

I LOVE it! Crutches were bulky and limited what I could do for myself. My hands and arms hurt after a couple days on them. This knee scooter is super stable, allowing me to zip around the house. I love having the basket to tote books, beverages, my phone and laptop around the house and clothing into the shower, etc. The basket easily slips on and off two hooks in the front. I cannot believe how fast it was delivered. I ordered it late (11 pm) Monday Dec. 21, it was processed on the 22nd and it was at my house by 6 pm Dec. 23. UNBELIEVABLE! In the midst of Covid and Christmas holiday shipping rush it was delivered before the promised date of the 24th. It was easy to assemble, arrived in perfect condition. The knee pad is very comfortable- feels memory foam-like on top. As mentioned in many reviews the turning radius is not super tight, I am sure for safety reasons, but it's very easy to steer. It transitions easily from hardwood to carpet, and over runners and area rugs- but keep 2 hands on the handles if hitting carpet at an angle- it can pull the steering if one wheel hits the carpet first. It is true the brake cables extend out to the side, I do need to watch that I don't catch cupboard and door knobs as I zip around. Being aware of immediate surroundings is important with an injury so I do not find watching for the brake cables a problem. (Or as another reviewer mention, you could zip-tie the cables closer.) THANK YOU BodyMed for a great, affordable knee scooter, and thank you for getting it to me so very quickly. It will make the next 6 weeks so much easier.

so long wheelchair! Hello knee scooter!

scooter arrived on date promised. the box it came in was about the length and width of the scooter. (see partial image on left side of picture). for the most part it was already put together. i had to adjust the handlebar. put the seat on. place the basket on. the hardest part was figuring out how to use the clip that folds the handlebar. the product is new so the spring is tight. i had to read the booklet to understand how to lock the breaks and how to adjust the breaks because the breaks were set too tight. this is easier to roll around my house and to put in and out of my vehicle. gives me a workout as part of my at home physical therapy by using my health leg to get around. i also purchased a theshold ramp from another company to make going in and out of my house easier too. (see picture )12" x 32"
