I ordered this potato masher not to mash potatoes but to mash ground meat when cooking it. Make a lot of meat sauces, chilis, and dishes using various ground meats. The tool they sell for separating ground meat [ that plastic star-bottomed utensil] when cooking it doesn't work, in my estimation. This type of potato mashed does, and does it effortlessly !
