You'll notice that the K&H Heated Bed may not feel warm to the touch when your pet is not on the pad. THIS IS NORMAL! Our products are designed to only warm when your pet is lying in the bed. You can test the pad by placing a large pillow on top of the bed. After about 20 minutes, feel under the pillow. It will feel warm, not hot. If you feel warmth, the product is working as designed. For use with 110/120 volt electrical current only.
Fabric Care Instructions
Remove heater and heartbeat device. Wash bed and pillow, mild detergents, no bleach. Cold water, gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or air cycle. Dry completely before reassembly.

Great for senior cats too!
I purchased the Heartbeat Heated Kitty Pet Bed with Heart Pillow for my senior kitty that has kidney failure and lost her hearing. I thought she might be comforted by the heartbeat. She LOVES the heated bed that stays just the right temperature ! It's a little small since it's meant for kittens but she squished herself in! She is unimpressed by the heartbeat pillow so far.
