Crosley Tara Over the Toilet Storage Cabinet

Wanted additional bath storage with a drawer. I was hesitant to purchase based on problems encountered in a few reviews. Decided purchasing through Walmart would make for an easier return. I am in my mid 50's. I have put together a lot of furniture like this. Many tears and near divorce trying to put furniture together. I assembled over half of this piece myself . Easy to follow instructions. Just really look at pic detail to make sure all the holes, etc are correct as per pictures. I found this piece to have amazing hardware. Insert and attach by flipping an already installed lock! We laid the unit face down to screw all the little screws in place on the back, instead of having it stand per directions. The drawer glides took a few tries to get attached correctly and opening and closing a few times to get the glide working right. It is on the heavier side and the weight distribution makes it a little challenging to lift at an angle, up high enough to get over the back of the toilet. Room size and ceiling height could be a factor in this being difficult or impossible. The bottom board does rest directly on the water pipe for me. I suppose everyone's are different? Also, the trim board in my home makes it so that the unit cannot be flush again the wall to secure. This is not just the standard child safety attachment. It really does need to be attached to wall. It is top heavy and since you will be pulling open drawer and doors, it does need to be secured. We found longer screws to make it work. We did not put wall anchors at this point, just long screws into sheetrock. We didn't feel like lifting it back over and messing with the wall that day. Mine arrived with only one inner drawer scratch that you cannot see now that it is assembled. Unfortunately, I think it's rare for anything to be manufactured to the standard most of us would like. It's a gamble no matter brand, distributor or shipper. I recently ordered much more expensive Kincaid hutch and it came with an entire handprint in the finish of one of the shelves! I found the finish of this piece to be better than expected. The speckles on the grey are pretty muted unless up close.
