Very nice RC vehicle.

This is a well built RC vehicle. The controller works well. It is fast, faster than I really need, but I knew that from the description. The shocks are nice and work well. The only thing I didn't really like is the body is kind of awkward to put on and take off. You have to use clips to keep it secured or it will come off. The body part is very thin material, but it seems like it will be OK. I would have preferred a more solid permanently attached body, but it's not a big deal. It seems to serve its purpose. Eventually I will probably modify mine to incorporate an arduino with sensors, maybe even a camera. It will be sort of a base for a robot. I probably will not use the body then anyway. Don't get me wrong, the body should work fine. I just think it's the weakest feature of an otherwise very nice little RC unit. I haven't messed with RC vehicles in a very long time. Probably 30 years. This may be the new standard with RC vehicles. It would make it easy to interchange bodies. This car is so fast, you need to be careful not to damage it. While it is built pretty heavy duty, it claims it can reach 30KPH. That translates to around 19MPH. I don't think it would be very wise to run you vehicle into a brick wall at 19MPH. The manual even warns the user to be careful running the vehicle at top speed. By the way, the manual is very well written. It is actually a nice and informative manual, easy to read and it is written in English. Overall this is a very nice RC vehicle that should provide years of fun.
