this item is of decent quality however length of the handle is inadequate for stripping bark from a tree because of the length of the handle causing someone to bend over far more. if they would add another 6 to 10 in it would have been the perfect length.

Bark peeler

Great metal head unit works great for bark peeling. The wooden handle is a very poor fit into it , had to pull it off and put a few wraps of duct tape on the section that slides into the metal head and seems to work a lot better .
