The new Honda Civic Type R arrives on the market in 2023. It continues a long line of sports cars that began in 1997 with the EK9. But it's a far cry from the hatchback. The saloon looks more like an ocean liner than an angry little city car. Nevertheless, the sporty side is still very much present. Its design is a little less aggressive than previous generations, but the spoiler and wider wings are still present. On the road, it's just as impressive as ever. Behind the wheel, you can feel its 2.0-litre turbocharged engine working miracles. In fact, it holds the lap time record for a front-wheel drive car, both at Suzuka and at the legendary Nürburgring!
