I recently moved to an apartment with 3 ft x 5 1/2 ft storage closet that had no storage shelves. I purchased this 4 ft shelving unit to lease some empty space for brooms, mops, etc. I was so pleased with how easy the assembly was, as it took me approximately 45 minutes including unboxing and laying everything out and looking over the instructions. Once you get the first lower section installed, it’s repetitive and goes fast and smoothly. The instructions are easy to follow too. The hardest thing was getting the panels in place at the finish. I’m a 61 year old man and had no problem once I figured out you have grab each end and pull towards the center putting a slight bow in the panel. The panels are very sturdy and surprisingly hold a good amount of weight. I put my heavier items on the outer sides of each shelf where there’s more support from the structure. I found in my case I didn’t need to use the wall tether system as it isn’t tippy at all and very solid in its stance. They even included a couple of accessories that will connect the two sections together if you don’t want to stack it to its 6 ft height so that you can have two 3 ft high side by side units making it 8 ft long. What a brilliant option! I can’t say enough about how impressed I am with this shelving unit from looks, to ease of build, to easy installation and very affordable price point, and I was able to get mine on sale for $99 at Walmart and got free shipping! Don’t hesitate to purchase this unit and don’t be hesitant about build time or ease of installation.
