Excellent Taste

These are my go to noodles for chicken alfredo, Italian pasta salad. Etc. We have a lot of gluten intolerant family members. These are perfect for family gatherings. They taste close to regular noodles. Everyone likes them at our family gatherings of over 20 people. People like our kids with sensitivities can eat what everyone else is eating when these are around and don't have to feel so restricted. Dont over cook. Do not boil with oil or butter in the water.

My Favorite GF Pasta

Barilla Gluten Free Penne is my favorite GF pasta. It tastes delicious and the consistency is great. I can't tell the difference between their gf and standard pasta when it comes to taste and consistency. I usually boil it a few minutes past the recommended time and it turns out perfect. The sauces mix well and it's always delicious.

Holds up and tastes pleasant

This gf penne is very good. You can't really tell it is gluten-free unless you cook it too long, in which case it may become a little gummy-ish. It really holds up when boiled! I use it all the time for dinner with sauce or for a casserole that I bake after assembling. Usually for casseroles I just boil it a minute or two less. The penne tolerates baking after it is boiled very nicely. It has a good flavor when eaten with sauce, or just with butter, salt %26 a little cheese. I'm not going to say it tastes like fresh homemade pasta or anything, but it's good and is a great ingredient for gluten-free cooking. Barilla does a great job making gluten free pasta and I recommend the penne and the gf spaghetti too as I use them several times a month!
