Works but lid won't snap into place not a choice

The top to the filter just won't snap into place this makes you unable to close the lid. Still useful just doesn't close very well. Long term not the best solution.

Does the job.

Even the lowest setting seems to make quite a bit of water disappear. It does a great job. Just wish a filter would be available to doesn't take the water level down so badly.

reply from TetraFish Expert

Thank you for your comments, Megan. It is normal for a tank to lose between half an inch to two inches of water per week. Open tanks such as turtle ones will definitely evaporate at the high end. Weekly partial water changes keep the tank healthy and balanced and compensate for the evaporation. Filter systems are not the cause of normal evaporation. The season and the amount of humidity in your home are the causes. So that we can help you, email petsupport@spectrumbrands.com.
