[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater is awesome! It was incredibly easy to mount and install, and I was able to put it together in no time flat. As an electrician by trade, this was one of the easiest heaters I've ever put in! The unit requires 240 volts (single phase found in most residential applications,) or 208 volts (three phase,) commonly found in commercial, or industrial buildings. You need to use a 240 volt line voltage thermostat however, as it doesn't have the capability of low voltage control. It also needs to be rated for 4000 watts! I Please make sure you get that, or you can risk wiring or the thermostat itself burning up. I used a Stelpro non programmable thermostat, as I generally will only use this when working in the garage. I went with this after trying to find a thermostat rated at 240 volts, and 4000 watts that would work on WiFi, but I couldn't find one. I also supplied this from a two pole, 25 amp circuit breaker. Overcurrent protection on heaters is supposed to be sized based on continuous duty, therefore by code, a 20 amp breaker would not be sufficient. The heater flush mounts to your ceiling using a hanging bracket, and the electrical feeds through the back into the compartment in the corner for splicing. After that's completed, you simply swing the heater up on the bracket, slide into the keyed screws to hold it in position, and tighten it down. Then you put the cover on (which can go any which way due to the design ease,) using the four mounting screws. Easy-peasy! The unit runs very quietly in comparison to other garage type/modine style heaters. Since it is ceiling mounted, it takes up virtually no space in your garage, where other heaters tend to hang down and be in the way at times. The heating coverage is very good, and it heats up my 2-1/2 car garage in no time if the door is closed. It's great too for people who need to keep the door closed to retain heat, and don't want to worry about ventilation when using propane or kerosene heaters. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a space saving option that provides great heating coverage. Just make sure you have the power requirements available.
