Pero Instant Natural Beverage Original 7 oz Pack of 3

Pero is not a sweet or bitter product. It is made with grains...chickory, rye, barley. Very smooth taste, dissolves quickly and you can add anything to Pero that you add to your coffee. Has a unique flavor but similar to coffee. Not overpowering or so unique that one must "acquire" a taste for it. Our family has switched to this warm drink in the morning instead of regular coffee. Regular coffee was giving us heartburn. We add cocoa powder, coconut oil, pumpkin spice and warm whole milk or heavy whipping cream, give it a froth...SO GOOD!!! We also add those same things to our after dinner coffee so we're not trying to cover up the taste of Pero. We do still drink regular coffee just not first thing in the morning anymore. The price is OK. Walmart has been the 2nd lowest price I have found it for...approx $7.50 though I have seen it for $9. At the Walmart I shop at a few times it has been out of stock and to be fair it has also been out of stock at a other grocery stores I shop at. Overall, Pero is a good coffee alternative.
