Cactus and Succulent Imperial Potting Mix by rePotme is a free draining mix that is ideal for both cactus and succulent plants. This mix is distinguished by what it doesn't have in it, peat moss. Using premium ingredients in the absence of peat is key to getting rid of fungus gnats. Fungus gnats are attracted to peat moss, and almost all commercially available plant mixes are made with peat moss.

Love this potting mix!
This Cactus and Succulent Imperial Mix is fabulous. I've been needing to repot a couple of succulent plants, and had been putting it off,... until I got this potting mix. It's an excellent medium, drains well, and was easy to apply. I would recommend this mix to anyone who has cactuses or succulents, it's an excellent product.

Good Soil for Particular Plants
I used this mix for potting an aloe plant. It seems to be the perfect choice because the mixture contains chunks of lava rock, pumice rock, and pine bark, which allows for drainage needed for cacti and succulents. My regular potting soil would have been too fine and would have retained too much moisture for this type of plant.
