Great fan, but bad light bulb

I absolutely love this fan! The only downsides were the lightbulb that came with it was broken (had to buy a new one). Also, a really strong chemical burning smell that took over a week to dissipate (turned out to be from oils used to keep internal parts from drying out during overseas shipment to Walmart stores). You just have to keep the fan on 24/7 on higher setting until the smell is gone. Other than that, I love the design, color and how easy it was to install.

So easy to install. Never done anything like this before and was able to see the wire connection when taking down the old fan. Use a magnetic screwdriver for the blades, you'll need the other hand to steady the unit that spins in order to attach them. Drill for the mount and the cover.

Great, inexpensive choice for ceiling fan

Can't beat this fan for the price! Solid, quiet and moves air around a large bedroom nicely. We bought 4 of them (one for each bedroom) when we moved into an older farmhouse with no fans. Didn't want to pay a lot since we needed so many at once. Installed quickly, and my nine-year-old daughter was able to put the fan blades together herself. The oak color was a little darker than expected, but still looks very nice.
