Beautiful 5 Quart Cast Iron Round Dutch Oven, Rose by Drew Barrymore

I like this pot very much. I'm a fan of cast iron enamel. Remember this is not high end French cast iron but it is still a nice pot. It is heavy but not overly heavy IMO. The pink color is lovely. It was very well packaged. It cooks evenly on my glass top electric cooktop. No issues thus far. The lid inside is smooth. It doesn't have the notches/numbs for condensation purposes but that does not matter the pot still has great steaming and cooking properties. It is definitely an everything pot which is a welcome addition to my kitchen. The interior of the pot and lid are smooth and the outside of pot and lid are textured. I have the small heart cast iron pot from the line as well. The colors are every so slightly different. The heart pot is called pink champagne and this dutch oven is called rose. I don't own the heart skillet yet so I'm not sure if that's a different shade of pink too. I love this line so far. Very pleased. Dry your cast iron right away do not allow it to air dry, not water should be in or on the pot when not in use. It will rust. I use a microfiber towel to ensure it is dry all the way. I also use neutral dish soap too, so no lemon, lime or citrus dish soap. Once it's dried, I add a tad bit of neutral cooking oil like avocado to the exposed iron parts of the pan the lid and rim. I personally keep the shipping guards on the pot when it's not in use. That way the lid is banging up on the pot. This is a nice large family size cooking pot. It holds a ton of food and large pieces of meats.

The pot is wonderful. It's heavy like cast iron but has the ennamel coated on it. The handles are molded right onto the pot. The handle on the lid is thick and securely attached to the lid. This pot cooked evenly and is one of the best pieces of kitchen pots and pans including cast iron that I have owned.
