This is a sturdy product. The estimated assembly time was listed as 30 minutes, and we assembled it in 30 minutes. It might take a little longer if you're on your own, but assembly is easy! All the hardware is already sorted, and they give you two Handy tools that make assembly simple. All the parts are labeled, so it is pretty much idiot proof! This chair is very heavy duty, and it will not break under stress like the cheap ones that you might buy at the grocery store. I would buy this again!
