100 Sheets Cold Press Watercolor Paper for Artists and Beginners (7 x 10 in)

This is actually my personal favorite brand of watercolor paper. It is just more my style than the expensive 100 percent cotton paper. First, I personally like that the paint does not absorb into the paper as quickly. Also it could really be frustrating for someone who does a lot of wet on wet because it also holds the water on the surface longer yet driea fast. Think more like a hot press paper. The weight is good as well. It has density but does not feel almost like cardboard. Even if you do like the fancy paper, this is still perfect for playing around, swatching, practicing, letting the Grandkids practice painting, without feeling anxious over the cost. I recommend it. Very good value for the price.
