love the new blue

I already have the white, tan and grey and black paper, so when blue came out , I just had to try it. The art work on the cover is awesome. I wanted for some eerie Halloween drawings. The blue looks good for a foggy effect. The paper is smooth to touch. It has a nice thick board like feel. It depends on the type of colored pencils you use on it. Some are better than others for layering like prismacolor. I like just crayola crayons on as well as oil pastels. I haven't tried my pastel pencils to see how many layers I can get. The paper is thick enough I believe some clear gesso will get me more layers if paper a lone won't waiting to see. Just graphite drawings on are great. Nice smooth paper but has some tooth to grab your media. I want to try my gouache on as well. So many experiments to do. I think I should have gotten 2. Try this paper you will find the right medium or pencil to use. I got mine on a super sale great price.
