Black coating comes off easy

Just installed the black sink strainers like 2 months ago. Already the black coating is coming off. These wernt cheap eather, expected better quality. Cant be black oxide, must be something else.

I would not buy the matte black! Finish peeling off after only 1 week of being installed!!!

Bought this to match my black matte kohler kitchen faucet for my kohler farmhouse sink. Although it matches and works well, the black finish is already peeling off after only 1 week of having it installed!!! I have not used anything but dish soap and water in the sink. Do NOT waste your money! Kohler you need to fix your product!!
