This is a beautifully textured glass bulb. It's about 4.5 inches around and the same tall, like a circle. It is glass and feels very light, it came undamaged in the mail, it was well protected. It gives a soft yellow light. It does not blind you like the daylight type led bulbs. I've had this on for hours and it will still be cool to the touch. My regular bulb it replaced got so hot it hurt to touch, that is a nice bonus. Another good thing about it is the base seems to fit any standard light bulb socket, and it's LED. On the side of the box it claims to last 13.7 years and costs 54 cent a year to use if you only use it 3 hours a day. If you want something bright this is not the bulb for you, but if you want a warm glow this is perfect.
