Stretch velvet fabric is a 4-way stretch fabric with a smooth back and textured polyester velvet front. This fabric is extremely soft with a beautiful sheen. This is a medium-weight fabric of 253 gsm (approx.) with a 90% polyester 10% spandex content and 58/60" width. The polyester content makes it ideal for washing. This fabric is great for apparel, costumes, dancewear, decorations, and more. The velvet has a soft texture, drapes very well with hemmed edges. Its wide width also makes it an ideal fabric for wide-width crafts and apparel projects.
