Disappointed with the seal

This box was a little disappointing. The weather seal is inadequate and poorly installed. I would not consider it watertight and the metal fittings are just zinc plated so it will rust quickly. If you have the interest a better seal could be installed but frankly there are better storage boxes made for household kitchen things like Rubbermade that are more water tight in the long run.

Look elsewhere for a dry box

Don't waste your money. It really is junk. If you want something cheap to keep a few tools in your garage where it won't see water than maybe you'd be ok with it. The seal is paper thin and the latch doesn't close well. Not good for protecting anything from water.
