    Great Color Coverage BUT Spreads- TOO too drippy

    I have used the 9 color several times and I do really like the coverage and how long it lasts however it is incredibly thin and liquidy what that means is after a few minutes of application it starts to drip down as in my intention of covering the roots of a half inch slides to full inch or more- since this is permanent, I'm sure that means it is going over my old hair that does not to be need to be recolored. I am aftaid of causing extra damage. The quantity in the container is small so it only covers my crown area. I had to get this three stars because I cannot use it knowing that it will color my already colored hair by spreading, which will cause a lot of damage if they could make the formula thicker so it would not drip like crazy that would help. I also put thick conditioner on the rest of my hair dry that is not colored so that it will not wash into my longer blond strands at rinse out. I am a dedicated at home Hair Colorist so I have used numerous formulas over the last 35 years. I don't recall using one that spreads so quickly. over untreated hair.

    Not too bad

    Coverage of grey not bad, however product 5G Medium Golden Brown was lighter than box color. I recommend squeezing a line of color on each side of parted hair sections and using a different, stiffer brush to paint the outgrowth. The quick mess-free applicator was anything but!

    Disappointed..

    I have used this many times and I do like it and it's easy to use, it seems as though there is a change in how much product is in the bottle as it used to cover all roots, now it only covers about half..I will have to try a different brand to get full coverage the cost did not go down with the lack of product..I would recommend this only if you purchase 2 boxes..
