This meat was such a good deal for the price and it had really good texture, barely any grease to pour out the pan after frying for tacos %26 spaghetti. I use it for everything (taco's, spaghetti, hamburgers, beef vegetable soup, ect) its so easy to work with. Its not like the smooshy greasy kind, this has real good texture. Would highly recommend

Good meat when you want just a little bit of fat g

I make a large batch of meatballs once a month. Meatballs are a lot of work to make so I make enough to serve pasta and meatballs once a week for a month. The Walmart 80/20 hamburger is perfect, just the right amount of fat for the flavor and not too much fat to be greasy. In the fall I make several meatloafs to freeze for winter meals again it's the perfect combination. In the past I have tried the hamburger from Krogers, IGA and some other grocery chain stores and none of them can compare with Walmarts hamburger.

Can't Bring Myself to Cook Ground Beef Anymore

It was a Holiday Weekend coming and the store ran short of Ground Beef. The Ground Chuck was right there, so I grabbed the last packs. OMGoodess, the grilled burgers were so much better! Less fats, even if 80%/20%, than the Ground Beef, and a much richer flavor. Well, okay, now we have a new staple in the house. My Mom used to cook Chuck Steaks for my Dad on Sundays, while growing up. We couldn't t afford other cuts, and hers were never tough or dry. So, why not use it instead of just Ground Beef. I'll never go back to it.
