Smaller in the thickness of the poll than desired

I couldn't install it myself and didn't get the movers to take my stuff to my new residence until August 22nd. Once I found a helper for this short old lady, it was too late to return it. It is pretty, but I was worried that it was too thin to hold up 120" of heavy curtains for a large window. I have asked the seller to allow me to return it.
