These boots were very comfortable to wear, and walk around in. They have a nice grab around foot without hurting. You feel that they are there, but it's not an uncomfortable feeling. The soft squishy insole near the toes was a nice surprise. It adds a little bounce to the walk, like a little bit of a floating feeling. i really like the open eyelets in top. There are 2 of them up there. It's makes it really easy to lace up, and to take off without having to unlace all the eyelets.

Hubby uses these for yard work. We live in the woods in northern wisconsin and grass is wet with dew all morning. These keep his feet dry plus some ankle support. Good traction also. He usually wears a 10.5 medium width, ordered up a 1/2 size due to several other reviews. considering a half size is 1/6 inch difference, it is close. 11 works just fine with about 1/3 inch toe room.
