Benchmade Freek Knife

Yet, another great knife from Benchmade. The Super Freek is definitely big and won't see too much pocket time from me unless I'm doing work around the house or yard, or car camping. FYI for those who are neck deep into knives, M4 steel is very tough but definitely doesn't like being wet. Make sure to keep it clean when you're done using it. Lastly, people like to talk trash about Benchmade. I have many knives from many brands. I've owed 17 Benchmades and currently have 13. Not a single one of them has been bad or off. Never a single QC issue. If you're on the femce, I don't think you can go wrong with it if you want a hard use knife

Feels great in my medium-large sized hands. The G10 scales have ridges to help with grip, but are smooth without any sharp edges, so I find them very comfortable to hold tightly when needed. It took a bit to break in the movement and action, but now it's buttery smooth to open the blade using the thumb stud, and when holding down the axis lock, the blade is able to swing freely. Blade is centered when folded, and straight without any play when opened. Out of the box, it's sharp enough to shave my hairs. The color scheme is also a really nice combination, but that's personal taste. Overall, really happy with this knife!
