Women Adjustable Sizes Ice Skates – Comfort, Stability & Beginner Control

I had no idea how hard it would be to find ice skates for my kids. Across the board in every brand, ice skates seem to run very small and narrow. My 7 and 8 year old kids wear shoe sizes in youth/kids 2.5 and 3. They both have wide feet so my daughter, who wears 2.5 shoes has needed size 4 ice skates. My son, who wears size 3 shoes and has even wider feet, could not wear other brand ice skates in size 4 or 5— because they are typically made of leather and very narrow at the toes. I ordered this one, thinking it was a “women's” size 5. When I received the ice skates, it was actually an adjustable size 5.5 to 6.5. But oddly enough it fits my son (the one with wide feet who wears youth 3 shoes), AND myself (I'm a women's size 6.5/7). It's wide enough for both of us, but stiff enough to fit and hug my son's feet. We're definitely keeping it. Regarding the materials, I was hesitant about ordering because it looks like a cheap felt/suede fabric in photos. But when I received it, i was pleasantly surprised at how well made it was. The exterior isn't a true suede on the outside, and the inside doesn't feel like a “luxury” or premium material, but it's all JUST ENOUGH and perfect for its purpose. I'd highly recommend this one for anyone else struggling to find the right ice skates.
