Norpro 60-Minute Timer on a Rope, 1.5"D x 4"W x 2.75"H, White

I was looking for a timer like this one. Now when I'm cooking or doing my deep conditioning treatments on my hair, I will have a good timer, so that i don't go over the time limit, plus I like the magnet on the back of the timer so I always know where it is.

Love this little timer and it's been working fine since I got it. With timers that isn't a given. I've had to toss lots of other timers because they broke too soon. This model works just fine. I almost took off a star, though. because the one I have has a manufacturing flaw. There's a little notch in the handle part of the dial that tells you what the timer is set to or how much time is remaining. Only the person who assembled mine put the dial on so the notch is diametrically opposite of that time. So if the notch points to 30 minutes, the timer is actually set for an hour. An other person who got one from the same production run suggested to put a Sharpie mark where the notch should be. I haven't even done that yet. I just eyeball it. Love the fact it is on a string. Not so happy with the magnet part. There are so many things like electronics and credit card strips where if you get a magnet close to them it will really mess things up. So when you wear this one on the string, be sure not to have it near your wallet, iPod or hearing aid. Other than this I am very happy with this little timer. I wish they'd make one like this that runs for 120 minutes.
