Surprisingly Delicious, Looks Awful
This was so tasty, I was surprised. However, the look is so unappealing that I nearly threw it away immediately once I cut open the package. After I microwaved it, it still looked awful. However, it smelled good and I managed to try it. Aromatic and tasty, it was a total surprise and refreshing. If you like basil, you'll love the flavor. Wouldn't call it a true pesto as it has chickpeas in it…if you can get past the totally unappealing brown look (you know what I mean!), you'll love this. I don't even like beans but this was so good. It did have a very refreshing taste, very good for microwave pasta! It tastes gourmet and like no other pasta I've tried. I'm a picky eater. I recommend but giving 4 stars because it looks brown and awful in real life (not as on the label).

Appreciate the vegetarian option and shelf-stable convenience. Quick to prep (90 secs!) with solid ingredients at a fair price. The pasta looked much darker than pictured, but the taste was better than expected. Just note: saturated fat is high—likely due to the pesto.

I liked the taste fine and the pasta texture was good but the dark brown color of the product was not at all appealing. I would consider buying again because the pasta was filling and left me satisfied.
