Melting Directions: (visit verybestbaking.com for more melting tips)Microwave: Melt 1-3/4 cups morsels in uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on high power for 45 seconds; stir. If needed, microwave at additional 15-second intervals, stirring vigorously after each interval until morsels are melted. Microwaves vary, melting times may need to be adjusted. Double Boiler: Place 1-3/4 cups morsels in top of double boiler over hot (not boiling) water. Do not cover. Prevent water from coming in contact with morsels. When morsels begin to turn shiny, stir constantly until melted. Once melted, immediately remove top pan with melted morsels from bottom pan.
Safe Handling Instructions
We recommend melting no more than 2 cups of morsels at a time.Once melted, use immediately.

Awesome taste, made our new favorite cookie
I originally got these as an alternative to chunking up 3 bars of baking chocolate for a recipe out of one of our new favorite cook books "Baking across America" by B. Dylan Hollis. I am so glad I did as not only was the price better than 3 bars but it worked out AMAZINGLY! -They came in perfect shape. The package was not torn, warped or breached. -The print and label are all printed clean an crisply, easy to read. -The taste is perfect not quite like the chips, a bit different but in a good way. It is smooth and sweet with no bitter after taste like some other brands. -They melted/half melted perfectly in the cookies making them the new house favorite. Overall if you have a recipe that calls for chunked baking bars I would totally give these a try instead.
