(6 pack) "JIFFY" Honey Corn Muffin Mix, 8.5 oz Box

We have used Jif cornbread for many years, but when I ordered it recently I either ordered wrong or was given the Honey Jif cornbread mix instead of the regular kind. I did not notice the difference until I ate it and thought, why is this so good, its different ...needless to say i now order Honey Jif Cornbread.

Jiffy makes good cornbread mix. The little blue box has been my go to cornbread for decades. A pan of Jiffy goes good with blackeye peas, or chili. A very large pan of Jiffy corn bread goes into my holiday stuffing every year. I always used regular, until recently, when I bought the Honey flavor, due to availability issues. Almost by mistake, or by pure chance. If you like sweet, this is for you. My family liked it a lot. I was worried that the sweetness would be inappropriate or overpowering for stuffing, but no, it was actually very good. Bakes up fluffy soft every time too. Just pay attention to the expiration date. If its close, or past, it will be flat and dense. Corn bread is not forgiving. But, if you catch the date before you bake, you can save your cornbread by adding a spoon or two of baking powder to the dry mix first. That applies to cornbread mix in general. Just some general advice, not related to Honey Jiffy only. To sum up my review: ii is, not surprisingly, very good. How can a little honey be bad
