I had this tested in any court surfaces, specially indoors and outdoors courts Clay courts will leave clay residue on the tennis balls, which makes it useless. Washing the tennis balls is ok, but can't be given or played for your dogs, because during the washing or soaking period, micro fissure on the tennis balls will soak the water inside and cause bacteria or fungus to accumulate. Only action is to dispose at recycling centers. Purchased only a brand-new tennis balls for your Canine Family member, because you don't know where those use tennis balls came from or if those use tennis balls has been thoroughly cleaned.
