Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until all water is absorbed. ***Cooking Measurement Chart **Rice: 1 cup; Water: 2 cups; Makes: 3 cups; Servings (3/4 Cup Cooked): 4 **Rice: 2 cups; Water: 4 cups; Makes: 6 cups; Servings (3/4 Cup Cooked): 8 **Rice: 3 cups; Water: 6 cups; Makes: 9 cups; Servings (3/4 Cup Cooked): 12 **For drier rice use 1/4 cup less water. **For moister rice, use 1/4 cup more water. *** Add 1 tbsp butter and 1 tsp salt per cup of uncooked rice, if desired. **Microwave - From Ambient **Cooking Directions in the Microwave** **1. In a 2 1/2 quart microwave-safe dish, combine 2 cups water and 1 cup rice.* **2. Cover and microwave on High for 5 minutes. Reduce setting to 50% power; microwave for 15 minutes. This rice cooked perfectly. Not mushy, didnât stick together. I rinsed it until water ran clear before cooking and added both butter and salt. I would buy again.
