First, it's Fiskars so what's not to like. I wanted just their exceptional manual sharpener but it seems you can't buy it stand alone anymore so I got the pack. They seem sturdy enough to last through a school year and longer. I very highly recommend the sharpener and wish they would sell them on their own again. It shuts so you can protect things getting in there that don't belong and the cap that holds the shavings is easy enough to get off but doesn't fall off on its own. I have had my last one for at least 10 years and it still works perfect. I just wanted to get one for my daughter as we both use colored pencils a lot for drawing.
