Difficult to return

I purchased two bed skirts not knowing which length needed for my daughters dorm room. These bed skirts are very difficult to put on the bed as it keeps twisting and wont stay in place. It has a couple of ties that you can use to tie to the frame but again could not get get them to stay in place. I found the whole bed skirt too difficult to deal with and am trying to return them but you can not return them to the store! I have been trying f over a month now to return them and keep getting emails telling me to submit a return request but there are no instructions on how you do this. I have sent multiple emails to the owner of the shop but just keep getting the same message. I will not be purchasing from WALMART.com if they do not offer instore returns. I made the mistake of assuming I could return these to the store and that is my fault. I should have purchased from AMAZON as I would not be dealing with this now.
