Fake or Genuine? No Way To Know

Item received in “Floreo” packaging, but with no attached identification numbering whatsoever. Necklace, while attractive, arrived without any indication of karat purity, solid or plated, etc. Small tag attached to necklace was blank, with no ID of product. Links of necklace are square wire, as opposed to round wire as depicted in WalMart and Floreo Store web page. I've no real certainty if the necklace is a $50 knockoff, or the solid 14k $980 necklace that was advertised. Quite unusually poor documentation for any jewelry retailer/reseller. The intended recipient of the gift likes it, but is not aware of the questionable provenance, and I'll let it go for the sake of the gift being appreciated. However, I will never purchase seemingly simple jewelry from WalMart or Floreo in the future
