Flip flop quality, not a true sandal

The top strap is fake, and is only made to look like a strap. Because of this, you can't adjust to the size of your foot, and my son complained that they were a little too tight in the front width-wise. The sides of the straps are also poorly fastened to the base of the shoe. It has more in common with a flip flop in terms of design than an actual sandal. Ok for going to the pool, but not much else as kids tend to be very rough on their feet. I didn't bother to return only because of the shipping as it wasn't worth the return for a few bucks and we needed the sandals for a short out of town trip. Maybe I should've realized the quality wouldn't be great considering the price, but the pictures made the product look like it was a lot better quality than it was. I mostly wasn't expecting the flip flop base construction.
