Awesome in Atmos!

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews about this release, but let me be brutally honest here. After having purchased the Dolby Atmos releases of Pink Floyd's The Dark Side Of The Moon; and Animals which both sound phenomenal in my opinion, I figured I'd get this since I'm also a huge fan of The Doors. The Dolby Atmos mix as well as the 5.1 mix sound absolutely amazing! in fact the 5.1 mix as just as good as the 5.1 mixes that was done on The Doors: Perception box set (now out of print). The only thing I can think of for the other negative reviews is I guess some people are use to hearing music in Stereo and not open to experiencing a more immersive way of listening to music. personally, I love the idea. taking sound that use to be 2-dimensional and making 3-dimensional. I think Jim Morrison would be proud having The Doors music presented in a third dimensional format. It allows the listener to have a more intimate experience with their favorite musical artist. Break On Through Baby! so the breakdown of what you're getting on this blu-ray release: Dolby Atmos 7.1 (48kHz - 24bit) DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 (96kHz - 24bit) DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Stereo (192kHz - 24bit)
