Oldie but goodie

A guilty pleasure! I never watched Dynasty growing up in the 80's but it was fun watching it decades later. Very "soap opera" styled with the dramatic music, exaggerated facial expressions, and cliff hangers at the end of each episode. Enjoy!

DYNASTY: SEASON TWO *****

Dynasty: THE SECOND SEASON bring two popular characters to the mix. Alexis Morrell Carrington (actress Joan Collins) and Sammy Jo (actress Heather Locklear in her first television series. Many will remember Heather Locklear from producer Aaron Spelling's "Melrose Place" series as the scheming witch Amanda). The scene stealer of season two is definitely Joan Collins' Alexis. The character (Alexis) brings her brand of havoc on her ex-husband, Black Carrington (John Forsythe) and his new wife Krystle (Linda Evans). Alexis rules!

Old Prime Time Soaps Still Prime

It's so nice; I like it. I also like Falcon Crest and 7th Heaven. I have Seasons 1 through 7 of the latter and am hoping to complete the set. I am also a Knots Landing buff and am looking forward to additional Seasons of Dynasty coming out. I must say that I am fond of this particular DVD. It is relaxing to watch and I enjoy following the story lines. In this age when there is so little on t.v., it's refreshing to know that I can watch Dynasty an episode at a time and renew a period when actors and actresses were truly good.
