We are grandparents and decided to downsize and not put up our Balsam Hill tree this year. I ordered this small tree to place in my dry sink and it works perfectly. It does take batteries and the feature I like best is it has a timer. So set it when to come on and it will automatically turn off in 6 hours. It could have a few more lights but I find it perfect for our needs. I ordered additionally some small ornaments, a tree skirt and a tree topper. Now I am placing my gifts at the base of the tree.
