After using another fly sheet for most of the summer months, my mare was developing a rub on her withers from a lack of motion in the neck piece as she grazed. I was also annoyed that other neck pieces rode up on her neck when her head was down, causing pressure at the base of her neck and losing half of the neck coverage. I had been on the hunt for a new sheet that would offer her better protection and kept coming up with the Rambo fly sheets. I took the plunge when this sheet went on sale and I am so thrilled that I did! This sheet is true to size and I'm so happy to report - absolutely no more rubs on my mare's neck. The neck piece does not ride up when the horse's head is down, it stays up beautifully over their withers, and offers great coverage in general. As others have mentioned, the material initially feels a little stiff but it's softened up a lot. I love that it has the No Fly Zone baked into the fabric as I have definitely noticed that the bugs bother my horse less than the other horses in the pasture now. Plus this sheet offers fantastic belly coverage! My only wish is that it came with Horseware's wipe clean tail cord rather than the nylon one, but I replaced it myself and that's such a minor wishlist item that it absolutely does not outweigh all of the pros this sheet has to offer. I was lucky to get this sheet on sale, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another full price if I needed to in the future.
