It does warm within a minute from being plugged in. You can adjust the amount of time you want it to stay warm and there is plenty of cord. The charging adapter is well made and sturdy. I like this product so much, that I am ordering a second one for the passenger seat.

It is not fancy, it's thin and not very big. HOWEVER for the money it works well. It gets warm quickly and is large enough. There are nicer heated cushions out there, but they are much more expensive. Great value, works just fine.
