Our goal is to develop books which connect people with visual impairments to the world around them. The books were created with input from ophthalmologists, health care providers and the visually impaired themselves. Our concept of bringing together very large print and colorful images in an accessible, intelligent format may be a simple idea, but it fills a need that has never been addressed before.

Digitally (computer) enhanced photographs -this technique was developed strictly for these books. We've increased contrast and limited colors of similar value whenever possible. We've maximized ink coverage and used extremely vivid imagery. The large, 9 x 12 page creates an exciting canvas of color and helps to illustrate the accompanying copy.
