NYPD Police Commissioner Frank Reagan's life revolves around his family and his job. His family's ambitions are centered on law enforcement; Frank's two sons are police officers and his daughter is an assistant district attorney. Trying to the make the best of his present, Frank is haunted by the past specter of his dead wife and son.
