I got this to keep my overflow of yarn in, but when we brought it home, as we unloaded the car, we put some non-perishable things in it and it got left by the porch as we finished with the car. Luckly, we made sure and put the lid on tight when we did, because we forgot it outside overnight and it rained. Pretty hard. When we remembered it, we opened the lid and everything was dry inside. I wouldn't recommend leaving it outside, because it is thinner walled than a crate, but it would do well as it is meant to be used. This is the second one I have purchased. The handles make it easier to carry and being stackable makes them good for storage.

This is a very good repeat organizational purchase and easy to purchase more matching bins when needed. They are easy to stack and provide ample storage for anything. I like that they have a lightweight feel so handling them is easy. The lids work but could be more sturdy. The gray is a good choice if you like the clean modern feel.
